Description
Samsung Galaxy M32 Summary
The Galaxy M32 is a part of the budget focussed M series of smartphones from Samsung. The Galaxy M32 stands out a bit since Samsung has equipped it with a 90Hz AMOLED display and a 6,000mAh battery. That’s not all, it also gets a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup at the back.
The Galaxy M32 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch at the top for the 20-megapixel selfie camera. the body is primarily made out of plastic but feels solidly built. Samsung has opted for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is slowly becoming common in this price segment.
Samsung is using the MediaTek Helio G80 processor and offers the Galaxy M32 in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants. These models are equipped with 64GB and 128GB of storage respectively. The phone runs OneUI 3.1 on top of Android 11. The UI was smooth and responsive though the processor isn’t the most powerful in the segment. Heavy users might have to wait for the processor to load apps and heavy games.
The quad-camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Galaxy M32 managed good photos in daylight while low light performance was below average.
Battery life is one of the strengths of the Galaxy M32 with the phone lasting over a day and a half quite easily. The 6,000 mAh battery offers very good battery life and supports 25W fast charging. Sadly Samsung only ships a 15W charger in the box that takes close to 2 hours to charge the phone completely.
